RC Biak na Bato 40th Club Induction Ceremony

Good evening, Gov Ed, Past District Gov Dan, Past Gov Rey David, First lady Gov Dulce, PDG Dwight, To our District Gov Elect Florian, LCP laya and fellow Rotarians.

First, allow me to congratulate RC Biak na Bato for your 40th Club Induction Ceremony. It’s so amazing to know that it’s been 40 years of “Service above self”.

I’m so happy to be invited to this ceremony and see a lot of gentlemen… people of action.

For the new members, I congratulate all of you. Know that this is just the beginning of your new journey. I’ve been with Rotary since 2015 and I really enjoyed it a lot especially when I am in the field, doing advocacy work that transforms and changes the lives of others.

Being a Rotarian is more than just community service, it’s more than the seven areas of focus.

We, Rotary members, are diverse. We are leaders of business, art, government, sports, military, religion and all other disciplines. As we are the oldest and most prestigious service club in the world, we have executives, managers, and professionals who make decisions and influence our policies. Above all, we are nice people. We value kindness in our work, and we live out obedience in our policies.

The fellowship, the friendship, and the collaboration we have as a team make us more powerful in doing projects. A lot of the opportunities we get to do something gives us this sense of self-fulfillment which in addition adds to the satisfaction of one’s life.

I also want to give emphasis that at some point, Rotary will help us in our leadership development. Remember that Rotary is an organization of leaders & successful people. Serving in Rotary is like college education, this is where we learn to motivate and lead others.

In the end, Rotary isn’t your regular organization. It’s fun, unique, and diverse. It’s more than just a group of people, we are individuals who are community-centered, compassionate, and service-oriented.

Continue to be an inspiration to others, to your fellow Rotarians as RC Biak na Bato has always been a pillar for D3780.

Again, on behalf of all PEs gathered here tonight, we thank you for inviting us and enjoy the celebration. Enjoy the night!

Thank you!
