CADES 89

Tatlong dekada ang lumipas
Alaala ng kabataan ay nababakas
Tigmak ng ngiti ay maaliwalas
Ginagap ang sama-samang di Malalagas

Lulan ang mga istoryang masaya
Bantayog ng kabataan ang dala
Repeke sa pusong maligaya
Dumadagdag sa makulay na memorya

Bakas ang samahang matatag
Dito sa grupong hindi matitinag
Ang mga matitipino at mga dilag
Kawing-kawing na tropa ang mababanaag.

Iloilo City website suffers a double blade

After it was defaced by Iloilo hackers, the site was DDoS’ed by another group to mitigate effects. Iloilo IT needs to do something about this. Government should actively promote web security for LGUs and the whole online Filipino community.

It was Black vs White 😊

Note: Their site has been hacked twice already just this month.

Why Server logs are important?

When someone says that server logs are nothing, that person is stupid. Period.

As for me, Server Logs are very important. Why?

1. This gives us a whole view of what’s really happening on your server. Watching server activities can be a good thing to do too. 😊
2. If someone messes up with your server, server logs is your friend. "Huli ka balbon" sabay ngiti. 😊
3. IT Cyber Security - I believe that with No Logs, there is No Glory.
4. For some developers, server logs with debugging tools provide them an easy way to solve a problem.
5. The key for server logs is "managing and monitoring". With server logs, everything will be easy.

If you have better tools to read or analyze logs, that’s even better as you can easily identify patterns that can be valuable to you to become proactive in any server events and management.

Server logs are very important. Only malicious people will not like it or will intentionally delete it.
