October is CyberSecurity Awareness Month and our Rotary Club, RCMD Celebrates it with pride.
Last October 9, our Club Director for Technology and Communication, Mr. Meric Mara demonstrated and shared his knowledge on CyberSecurity to his fellow Rotatians. The sharing started by defining what is a hacker and its different types.
He also discussed the different types of attacks that hackers do like Social Engineering, Smishing, Type Squatting and more..
After that, there was an actual demo about Typo Squatting and how this can get the password of each users.
The sharing ended with a good Q&A to lighten the session to sure that everyone learned something on this intitiative.
