Philworld Online is one of the best Internet providers during the 90s.
It gave Filipinos tools and services to be connected to the interne when Trumpet Winsock was too popular as well as internet applications like Netscape, ICQ, MRIC, AltaVista, Yahoo etc. Servers were running on Slackware, Redhat and other Linux applications where finger command was so popular.
Last May 27, 2019, Philworld Online had a reunion held in Cubao spearheaded by one of Philworld founders, mentor and Tech savvy Mr. Rey Canlas. It was attended by different dapartments from Sales and Marketing, Technical and Business support.
The most exciting part is when everyone shared their Philworld experiences as well as their journey after their Philworld stint and their current careers.
