Ouch! Ouch!

A day is not complete without a cup of coffee

Well last night i come across this url http://needthebuzz.com/about. And read the write-ups of the people behind this company. I happen to know one of them and had experienced to work with him. I am actually startled why some people can actually write about things; claim for themselves and do not actually have ample substance for writing them. Apologies but i am not one person who can just sit down and connive to this seemingly invalid, unsubstantial, unfounded adjectives/statements.

So what i did is to email their contact us: services@needthebuzz.com. And this is what is have i told them.

I read this profile/write up of one of your co-founders. Apparently, the write-up is misleading and not concrete. Im assuming you have a copy of his resume and he has substantiated his past work experiences for your reference. We suggest that you do a background check as other companies do. If im going to re-write the article you can visit my blog at www.tamangkulit.blogspot.com

The write up goes:
Rodel is an expert in server and router configuration and maintenance. He has more than 9 years experience in networking, information security and systems administration. Rodel has worked as a network administrator for leading cable and internet service providers. He has been a key member of teams tasked to ensure a 24/7 network operations. In 2005 he established an open-source solutions company offering free open-source software to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) and corporations. Rodel's Computer Engineering degree is from Adamson University, Philippines.

And the perfect way to re-write this would be:

Rodel dreams to be an expert in server and router configuration and maintenance and he keeps on dreaming (background music: dream on, dream away) He had worked for himself for 9 years in networking, information security (where was this?) and systems administration (which company). The 6 years of his said working experience he has consciously dealt to give his colleagues tons of work to redo and fix his mess and Mr. Jan Pabellon couldnt possibly agree less with this. His previous workmates hope too that he could have learned from the experience and training that his colleagues and mentors provided him as he moves and dreams on. Rodel has been employed as a network administrator for leading (me hoping he hasn't mislead it) cable and internet service (me hoping he didn't do any disservice) providers. He has been a key member of team tasked to ensure a 24/7 network operations. Well, his team does 24/7. He surely does 9/5, bet my *%$@.

In 2005 he has helped facilitate to put up an open-source solutions company offering free open-source software to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) and corporations. Initially he has been accorded the task to handle the Finance and the company’s Administrative functions and during his tenure he has single-handedly managed to secure for the company two legal cases (one cashing out 680k to pay for a swindling, treacherous supplier of fake MS OS- who incidentally is also his churchmate; 2nd, unmindful to enter into an engagement and non-fulfillment of his duties for a sub-contracting party);all of which now are burdens of the “established open source company”.Further, he still has in his possession a laptop that is a property of that open-souce comapny. Adamson University has graduated him with a Computer Engineering degree.

Adamson, if you're reading my blog, are you proud of your alumni?

Dear Meric and Deng,

It's been a long time since we last spoke. I hope things are going well for you.

I noticed today both your blog postings where you have associated my company in your dispute with Rodel. As previously mentioned, I'm in no position to comment and do not wish to become involved. As far as I'm concerned, this is a personal matter between you and Rodel.

Regardless of the underlying facts, these posts cast doubt on the reputation of my company and the rest of my team. In particular I'm very concerned about the screenshot on Meric's blog showing the names of two of my team members, both of whom have nothing at all to do with this situation.

Therefore, I ask that you kindly remove all references to my company and its members from your postings.

Many thanks,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

Deng here... Thank you for asking if we are well and sincerely we are doing quite well.

Unfortunately, everything we decide on or do is a choice that we got to be responsible, bluntly put....

Regardless of the underlying facts, these posts cast doubt on the reputation of my company and the rest of my team.
- A TEAM IS COMPOSED OF INDIVIDUALS; and yes when is marked; EVERYONE IS MARRED. Which is the reason why i told you, i informed you... in the long run, you shall realize and thank me for the concrete and valid information. As my mere intention was to urge you to be a socially responsible entrepreneur....

In particular I'm very concerned about the screenshot on Meric's blog showing the names of two of my team members, both of whom have nothing at all to do with this situation.
- Meric i believed has already done something about this and our apologies to your staff.

Again, we only urge you to be responsible entrepreneurs.

Thank you and kind regards,

DENG
