Sa point of view ng ibang tao. Ang kayamanan ng kumpanya ay ang mga tao at dapat 'wag itong papabayaan. Sa point of view ng mga may-ari ng kumpanya, alagaan lang ang mga "tamang" tao na naka align sa adhikain na syang tunay na kayamanan na hindi dapat pabayaan..gawing mong kasama at kanegosyo kung maari. Na lahat ng iyan ay nagdedepende din sa kapasidad ng isang kumpanya.
It was really hard for us to celebrate our 16th year in the industry as the pandemic affects us on how we work. We are in a serious national health crisis situation and most of us are praying just to survive this issue. The cases of COVID19 in our country is getting higher everyday. Some of our friends were not able to win the fight against it. Face mask, face shield, social distancing, video calling and work from home and so on and so forth are now the NEW NORMAL. Thank God, He is always there for us, guiding us and making sure that we are blessed to be the blessings to others.
Wala lang akong naririnig ng tilaok ng Manok ngunit mag 4am na din. Hindi pa din ako makatulog.
Kakatapos ko kasing makausap ang bunso naming kapatid na si Kaka at pinag-uusapan namin ang kondisyon ng aming Nanay. Nanunubalik sa akin ang mga nakaraan ng kanyang kalakasan. Nanumbalik din sa aking mga ala-ala ang maayos na pag-tataguyod at mga pangaral sa amin magkakapatid. Tandang-tanda ko pa ang kanyang mga ngiti para sa pag-sisilbi para sa mga kababayan natin. Naging Kagawad din kasi sya at maraming oras ang kanyang itinatapon sa aming Barangay, para sa paglilingkod sa Bayan.
Kaya patuloy ko lang syang pinagdadasal sa kabila ng kanyang kasalukuyang kondisyon. Patuloy lang din ang pag-suporta sa para kayang mga pangangailangan. Ako at nga ngalan ang aming Pamilya, ay lubos ding nagpapasalamat sa inyong walang sawang panalangin para sa aking Nanay. Nawa'y gantimpalaan pa sya ng lakas upang mapaglabanan ang kanyang sitwasyon. Umaasa kaming hindi kami pababayan ng Pangioon sa laban na ito.

Carrier Unlock your old Iphone Xs in 3 easy steps

It was a fine Saturday and I made myself busy by unlocking the carrier of my old Iphone XS. Let me share you this simple hack. Here are the things needed for this experiment:
1. Your IPhone (syempre 😛)
1. IOS version 14.4
2. GPP Chip
Now, let's get our hands dirty.
STEP 1:
First, if you're using an old version of IOS, upgrade it to 14.4. My iphone has 14.2 so I upgraded it to 14.4 by doing this.
Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Tap Download and Install.
Make sure you’re connected to your Wi-Fi and just follow the screen on your IOS until the upgrade is finished.
STEP 2:
Get your GPP chip and insert it into your SIM tray then put it on top of your sim that you want to use. (in my case, it's a SMART SIM). Once this is done, you will be prompted with the menu. Simply select "Edit ICCID". It will automatically assign 20 digits ICCID and just press Send.
STEP 3:
After clicking the send button for ICCID, it will give you another menu and simply select 3G/4G ICCID Mode. Then it will prompt you that the setup is Ok! You may now restart your phone.
FINALLY! It’s now unlocked and ready to use! You may then remove the GPP chip and enjoy using your phone.

Last night, I had a good conversation with my friends and fellow Rotarians (Rex Britos, Joshua Maquiling and Allan Sanchez) and we've been discussing things on inspiring the new generation about IT and entrepreneurship. Thus, I opted to share these three (3) important things that happened to me and to one of my companies, 8layer Technologies, Inc.
1. MONEY ALONE DOESN’T MATTER, IT is about solving issues in society.
Most of the wrong notions about having a company is that you will become an instant millionaire". It's actually a BIG JOKE. Money is just one of the rewards on how you do things. The most important reward of an entrepreneur is when he/she was able to solve big issues in society. It’s an achievement to us especially if we’re able to succeed without being boastful. Always remember that “Businesses Driven By Values Succeed in the Long Run”. That’s why you have to let your values attract your team to contribute for this country and you will be a successful business owner.
2. IT is a fast evolving industry and a good tool to boost other domains.
Learning new things as much as possible is a good method to sharpen the saw. Read books, talk to the elders, share your knowledge to the community. In short..don't stop learning. Learning changes things. After that, start to act on what you’ve learned. In our company, the term "Aksyon" is very important. Action speaks louder than words.
ie. We don't know anything on Emergency Management but we are trained in Information Technology. Instead of watching and doing nothing, we acted by collaborating with people who are domain experts in emergency management. Then we used IT, from satellite connectivity to call management and dispatch management and incorporating Bigdata and Cyber Security. We believe that we were able to contribute by helping our public servants in doing public service properly with the use of IT. Emergency Management is not a thing of the past now. It is modern and data driven and more effective than before.
In IT, there are lots of domains that we can still improve on as long as collaboration is open and improvement will always be welcome.
3. Don't lost hope. Magpatuloy at 'wag matakot.
People come and go. It's normal! Most of the time, you will remove people because they violate ethical issues in your company. Sometimes, it's just a strategic approach to streamline your team. Remember that there is a BIG difference between "People and "Right" People". Those who understand and embrace the company vision is far from those who just go to work for the sake of salary. If people who got out or resigned, got terminated from our team became better people, we are very proud of them. We are proud to see people growing and making their way in doing their jobs in helping this country. Simply improve your Human Resource strategy and always be a keeper and protector of the vision so that growth will be fast and whatever happens, you are always on track.
Process is also important. Have time to review the things that you've done yearly and find time to improve it. I remember that we started way back 2005 and executing "Half of 8" Methodology and now its a full fledged methodology that is bespoke and very useful in our organization..it's called 8layer Methodology. Its very important to develop a company-specific design process to automate, monitor and make our operations understandable and easy to cascade to all people in our company.
I am very proud to say that from 2005 to now, 2021, we are still breathing and doing our contribution to the nation building in our small ways. Imagine this company started without a single penny, all we have is a drive to be More, Be Useful and Be of Service to our fellow Filipinos. Our main investment is our talents, love for our country and love to share and to open source some of our works so that others can learn and evolve it to something that can be beneficial to others.
SRT Protocol is really cool and when we talk about low latency video streaming over unpredictable network, SRT is the right technology for this. I've been studying this for the past few days and the more info I learned about it the more I become in love with it. It really overcomes the network condition that hinder real-time audio, video and metadata. It's really fantastic!
Isang matandang pamahiin na kailangan pumunta muna sa isang lugar bago umuwi ng bahay upang mailigaw ang nga masasamang kaluluwa na maaring nanduoon sa lamay na iyong pinuntahan. Kabilin bilinan iyan ng lola kaya dapat sundin at wala namang mawawala. May katotohanan man o wala. Muli, wala namang mawawala. .
I want to thank God for giving me another year. I owe it to Him! That is why giving back is so important. I hope that this year, I can help more and be of service to others with the help of my team. As for now, let me share to you how I spent my first day of 2021.
1. I started my day by cleaning. Get rid of bad things once and for all and start your day with a lightweight feeling.
2. Eating tuyo and sardines together with baked sushi. It was a nice feeling when you satisfy your hunger with the things that you really want. I want it simple but I always put a kicker on the things that I do.
3. Buying a computer and doing reports for Rotary as part of my obligation. -Be accountable for the things that you have committed to. It's actually difficult but just always try to do your best shot. It will surely land you to something that makes you great.
4. Valuing time by reading and finishing a 128 page-book this very first day of January--Yes, my birthday and I've finished 1 book already. Knowledge is power, so don't miss a chance in feeding yourself with new things.
Always think that you can be part of something that helps solve a problem or fill a gap for someone while bringing your best self at the end of the day.

Alam nyo bang sa panahon ngayon,tsamba na ang makabili ng pag-kain sa ilan nating mga kababayan. Maswerte sila kung maambunan ng mga malalasang pag-kain. Umiikot din ang mga pwet kung saan kukuha ng mga pambili ng gamot.
Ang facemask at faceshied nga ay hindi na din napapalitan at ang paulit- ulit na sampung piso ay mabigat upang ipambili ng mga ito na critical para sa kanilang pag-sunod sa tinatawag na health protocol.

Disyembre na,ilang araw nalang ay Pasko na,tapos ang bagong taong 2021. Ramdam nating lahat ang mga pasakit na dulot ng pandemya ng 2020. Medyo masakit din yung namatayan ka pa ng mga mahal sa buhay,mga kaibigan at mga kamagnak. Minsan nga hindi mo mapipiligan ang lumuha.
Hindi lang iyan, nandyan pa yung mga bagyong dumating na syang sumapak din sa ilang buhay at kabuhayan ng ating mga kababayan.
Paano na? Susuko na ba tayo?
Sa iba marahil ay OO, ngunit sa mga nagpapahalaga sa sarili at mga tao sa paligid. Kailangan lumaban.
Kailangan ding umagapay sa mga wala at magpalakas ng loob sa mga mahihina. Kampihan tayo pag-hindi umaayon ang pag-kakataon...group hug!!!
At dahil unang araw ng Disyembre. Ito’y buwan na pwede kong sabihing buwan ng pag-tatyaga at selebrasyon para sa pag-wawagi sa hamon ng buhay. Sa alon ng mundo, tayong lahat ay naglalakbay sa hiram na buhay. Minsan may mga karanasan tayong magaganda at minsan nama’y may mga hindi din kanais-nais. Yan ay normal lang. Tayo’y nasa mundo na kailangan maintidihan ang dinamikong kapaligiran. Na dahil dito, Tayo-tayo ang gagawa ng ating buhay na kung ano man kahihinatnan, Tayo nga lang ang may gawa.
Minsan tayo’y iiyak,tatawa,mag-mamahal,malulungkot at kung ano-ano pa. Base kasi iyan ng ating mga pinipiling desisyon sa buhay. Kaya minsan maiiling ka kung bakit ninanais ng iilan ang manglamang sa kapwa,gayun din kung bakit may nagpapatiwakal. Lahat naman tayo ay magwawakas, hayaan natin ang daigdig ang humusga..’wag nating madaliin..nag mamasid ang panginoon na syang laging gumagabay sa ating lahat. May tamang panahon nasa ating lahat ay nag-aantay.
Sa gitna ng agam-agam, tayo’y mananalangin. Na sana’y tayo ay gabayan at ilayo sa mga masasama. Maigsi lang kasi ang buhay. Kung pupunahin nga natin,sobrang bilis ng oras.Kung mali man o tama ang gamit natin, hindi na natin iyan maibabalik. Kaya gawin nating makulay ang ating pag-lalakbay. Gawing kaiga-igaya,Ika nga.
Suklian natin ng saysay itong buhay na hiram. Matuto tayong pagpasalamat sa mga pag-papala. ‘Wag nating abusihin ang sa ati’y biyaya ng tadhana. Matutong makiramdam at ‘wag maging pabaya. Kaya sa ating pag-lalakbay ang mga mali at wasto ay magbabase iyan sa kung paano tayo umunawa ng mga ganap ng atin buhay.Base sa karanasan na syang pinagtibay ng ating pag-lalakbay dito sa alon ng buhay.
