It all started with long-time friends Meric Mara and Erwin Galang, both IT specialists with a passion for music- Meric as a songwriter and Erwin as a musician and composer. The pair decided to fuse these interests and came up with an app for local musicians to find bookings and events. Fueled by their newfound concept, they contacted Ann Angala- a music and events veteran with 30 years of experience under her belt in organization, PR, and management. She contributed not only her expertise but also ideas for a website, marketplace, and for artists to put up their music onto the site.
Soon after, they called up Patrick Reidenbach- the owner of the legendary Club Dredd- the local watering hole of a crowd of passionate music makers, some of which rose to become the best bands of the 90’s- Eraserheads, Yano, After Image, Sugar Hiccup, Alamid and many many more. Patrick’s hands on experience as bar owner and a moving force of the 90’s music scene added another layer for the project. The latest addition to the team, Niokz Arcega, brings his creative touch and video element to the table, completing the team and forming the core group of WAVVph.


Functioning primarily as a Blockchain based booking app between artists, events and venues; an environment for musicians to showcase their work and make connections; and as an online store to sell merchandise, WAVVph has just officially released its website and app and is ready to hit the scene.

Philworld Online is one of the best Internet providers during the 90s.
It gave Filipinos tools and services to be connected to the interne when Trumpet Winsock was too popular as well as internet applications like Netscape, ICQ, MRIC, AltaVista, Yahoo etc. Servers were running on Slackware, Redhat and other Linux applications where finger command was so popular.

Last May 27, 2019, Philworld Online had a reunion held in Cubao spearheaded by one of Philworld founders, mentor and Tech savvy Mr. Rey Canlas. It was attended by different dapartments from Sales and Marketing, Technical and Business support.

The most exciting part is when everyone shared their Philworld experiences as well as their journey after their Philworld stint and their current careers.

Philworld  would like to thank the organizers, Ms. Emilie and Ms. Imelda as well as the sponsors with special mention to Ms. Bima, Mr. Meric for their contribution on this event.

Philworld Family will not stop with this reunion.They are currently organizing events as well as future gatherings that will also benefit our community.

Tsk tsk tsk! 2019 Election is still in question

One of the amazing thing about COMELEC and SMARTMATIC is that they always have reasons and answers to all the glitches, they already mastered the art of reasoning and downplaying instead of just simply provide a working  election system for this country. My god they're doing this automated election (or may i say computerized election system) for so many times and yet this tally board system is still in question. The problems are all over the news, Paper jams,malfunctioning machines, 'Java error' caused tally fluctuation, Comelec sees completion of official senatorial count by end of week, 1 million overvotes recorded in midterm Senate race: data and more...

It seems that they don't understand the ff:
1.Their system should be the medium to elect leaders for this country. Thus if this will be tampared just to earn money, therefor the exercise will be futile.
2.The the System is not a cheap solutions and it involves HUGE amount of money. Filipinos deserve a good and working election system at least with no Jave error along the way. =)

We only want a simple thing..WE Invested a huge amount of Money, therefor we want a working system.

Another question that we need to answer; Whos going to suctions this mistakes of COMELEC and SMARTMATIC? Why is it that this erroneous execution is just being judge only on media and internet?

That every errors is attributed to the credibility of the one whos executing this kind of project. That the more downplay and reasons they have, the more reasons too for us to questions their competency,  COMELEC and SMARTMATIC The art of downplay will not bring us to the next level to be a good nation but its telling us that you are not doing your job well.

But both of them are just all about the money at the expense of your trust.

Online Budol-budol and Election

I’m still hoping for change.

It’s very toxic for me to see how election evolves in this country.

The rampant vote buying is still present, the VCM or PCOS credibility is still in question. Black propaganda and killings are still active in this country.

The sad part is that there is a NEW addition to the ELECTION EVIL ACTS. There are some politicians who need money to support their political ambitions and they opted for international support.

Bad news if they will fall to the bad guys. They will ONLY get support of Trillion X USD of money if the politicians will give at least 10-20 BTC to the bad guys who promise to send the HUGE amount of money via special jet plane once the BTC deposit has been done.

In this modus operandi, the politicians lose his/her money while the bad guys rejoice with their winnings! No jet plane..all are hullabaloo.

This budol-budol online is sitll working nowadays…

Lesson learned:

If it’s too good to be true, you need to think more than twice. Don’t risk something that is valuable to you especially if it is a hard earned money. Please note that easy money always has a price.
